This is a significant meeting for Hawaii SWARS for several reasons.
1) Each State is required to coordinate with three committees in producing their SWARS: The Forest Stewardship Committee, The Forest Legacy Committee and the State Technical Advisory Committee. All three committees will be at this meeting.
2) The STAC can establish Working Groups as needed to work on specific issues. We will be establishing one such Working Group to help guide us as we develop Hawaii SWARS.
3) It will be the official debut of this website as a central organizing tool or workspace for collaborating, documenting and collecting feedback on Hawaii SWARS.
